The Divergence Theorem

Surface flux = divergence inside

The Divergence Theorem

Parameters

Divergence0.50
Radius120.00

Measurements

Surface flux+0
∫∫∫ div(F) dV2.262

Formula

∮∮ F·dS = ∫∫∫ div(F) dV

Total flux of a vector field through a closed surface equals the volume integral of divergence inside.

💡 Intuition

Divergence measures how much "fluid" is created at each point. The theorem says: total outward flow = total source inside. Watch particles escape the circle with positive divergence.
